But how do you do this? By making sure you digest every bit of information there is to know about any of the tech companies you are interested in. Below is a brief list of steps to take before investing in any of the companies in the Nigerian tech space; Carry out research for what interests you – Of course, you can read what is available online, however, you also want to make sure you have direct links to what is happening inside the company. It pays to have contacts within the company as well as other experts who have invested or are investing in the tech space. They will offer you beneficial advice. Check out their competitors and make some deductions on which company is actually capable of giving you what you want – This will depend on what you want. There was once an investor who wanted to invest in a particular tech company, but after he did some background research, he opted for their direct competitors – due to the fact that the latter was capable of taking high risks that ended up being highly profitable.
